Professional Learning is a priority with the intention that we are always learning and growing as people and as educators. One of my staff members found that the DIA was offering new and "best practices" training to educators and asked if we could participate. I was pleased to cordinate this opportunity with him and offer this quality training to my staff. Students are all different types of learners and it is our job as educators to be equipped to know how to differenciate our instruction to fit thier learning needs. I believe this demonstrates my committment to students learning and staff growth.
The Madison Prep staff was excited to travel to the Detroit Institute of Arts to participate in a workshop entitled, "Visible Thinking Strategies. It is a workshop where educators learn through demonstration and deconstrcution, while making connections to the Commom Core State Standards, and realize benefits of Visible Thininking Strategies for students.
